Seasons Greetings!

Our website is getting busy.It is being found by search engines and beginning to do its job of providing public information.

The Congress will return from the holiday break to consider changing the Bankruptcy Code. There will be many 'anti consumer' changes. This will make it more difficult for people who need Chapter 7 Bankruptcy to take full advantage of it.Many will be required to attend consumer credit counseling (at a price) before they file a bankruptcy case. This is a boon for creditors and the credit counseling industry. You can read up on this bill by going to our links secttion and then click your way to the American Bankruptcy Institute website.

Please write to your senator and Congressman/woman and let them know what you think of this possible change in your rights.

News About Our Firm

WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK

12/3/2004

This web site is a new, exciting venture and a continuing experiment in communication. A law school professor always said lawyering is about communicating with clients, adversaries, collegaues, judges and the public. How well can you do this?

How can we as lawyers and paralegals improve efficient, cost effective, honest and ethical service to our clients that earns and maintains the respect of our colleagues and the public?

The field of law is changing. When I started in 1976,carbon paper, typewriters and law books were the norm. The word 'Xerox' had just become a verb. Now, 28 years later, we practice at the speed of light, file pleadings and other court papers over the internet, conduct electronic discovery and (fortunately for me) spell check everything.Today, computers speak to us and react to voice commands. In the late 1960s this was in the fantasy world of Star Trek.

Please use this site to communicate with us,learn about changes in the field of bankruptcy law and about our firm. Help us make our site and our firm better and more client friendly with your critiques and compliments.I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for visiting our site and stop by often.

Best Regards,
Bill Wolfson
